Summary:
The Massage Therapist administers professional massage treatments. They must posses a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, posses a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to learn spa specific massage and body treatment offerings. A massage therapist must know the products and services they are providing to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the guest's needs. They must hold and maintain a current State of Wisconsin Massage Therapist License.
1. Perform scheduled massage and body treatments.
2. Provide individualized bodywork treatments that meet the client's needs and expectations.
3. Obtain the basic medical history for a client, assesses any problems or conditions, and suggest appropriate therapy based on current health of the client.
4. Ensure clients feel welcome when they arrive for their appointments.
5. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
6. Recommends retail products for clients' at-home usage.
7. Promote and up-sell products and services.
8. Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa.
9. Provide for guest privacy and comfort during the treatment.
10. Provide for guest safety, assisting each guest on and off treatment table.
11. Responsible for the cleaning and supply of towels and linen.
12. Keeping work area clean and organized.
13. Stock and maintain treatment rooms according to standard operating procedures.
14. Assist Spa in activities such as staff meetings, promotions, and housekeeping duties.
15. Assists with washing and folding all linens used in treatment rooms.
16. Maintains and increase knowledge of product line, and bodywork treatments by attending new in-house instruction, and education/training classes.
17. Maintain spa appearance and cleanliness.
18. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
