Vision Plastics, Inc.
is seeking an HR Manager to oversee and be responsible for administering our company's human resources policies and all facets of human resources management.
The ideal HR Manager will have a strong foundation in business administration, a thorough understanding of labor laws, and a commitment to fostering a welcoming and safe workplace.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and expertise in human resources management.
Provide expertise in HR and employee relations.
Generate documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters Maintain physical and digital files for employees such as, payroll, personal information, PTO, turnover rate, attendance points, shift logs, benefits, etc.
Evaluate employee performance and pay Assist supervisors in performance management procedures and duties Recruit, schedule interviews, vet candidates, monitor and post new jobs, etc.
Create onboarding plans, schedule employee orientation, and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations Training materials for all departments, including acting as apprenticeship liaison, identify and act as champion for new training materials, sessions, or seminars Preparation of payroll data to be processed by Finance (CFO) Maintain position descriptions referenced within the Vision Plastics organizational chart Take appropriate disciplinary action per policies within the Vision Plastics handbook Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department Manage benefits programs, including eligibility and enrollment Oversee HR events and meetings and coordinate management-employee communications Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency Engage with and attend meetings with Safety committee Lead annual review/update of Vision Plastics Handbook Perform all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisors PREFERRED SKILLS / EDUCATION Bachelor Degree preferred, or a related degree and/or experience Strong knowledge of human resources processes and best practices Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Strong skills and experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to work across multiple software platforms (IQMS, Indeed.
com, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) Ability to recruit via social media, recruiters, and staffing agencies Ability to work across all departments and functions Experienced in ISO procedures and policies preferred Ability to generate reports, business correspondence, and training documents Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees of the company Ability to handle data with confidentiality Job Type:
